You ever notice how many ads are on television or on the radio or even in magazines?
Why the glamorization of consuming alcohol? I say glamorization because it seems like that is what they are pushing!
Like if you drink you are going to be more popular or going to have a better time.
I am saying that is a load of crap!

What a joke that is to me, a waste of time to be honest. People are going to drink that evil stuff no matter what they say on television, print or just in general and why?
Why is that radio shows, radio broadcasts or most social events feel the need to be sponsored by something that KILLS PEOPLE!
They got rid of ads of the same type of thing with cigarettes….why? IT KILLS PEOPLE!
Yeah, this is a rant blog this time!
Let me give you an example; I listen to a radio station almost on a daily basis and happens to be one of my favorites and in the morning their sponsors are Bud Light.
Hell, why can’t they be sponsored by Pepsi or even Bacon for that matter? Why is it always have to be alcohol?
Yeah, I’ve had fun while drinking but that fun also turned into some nightmares at the same time.
You CAN have fun without it people!! It is not the end of the world if you throw a party and there is no alcohol. You just have to find another way to celebrate and get this…no fights, no accidents and especially nobody driving off half blazed out of their brain causing accidents or even death! No alcohol poisoning at that either.
There is nothing glamorous about alcohol
To this day, I know of nobody ever getting famous, rich or happy with the consumption of alcohol!
In most social gatherings, it is usually alcohol that starts the fights, arguments or other types of unsocial behavior, right?
When is this world going to realize that what they are promoting so much is stupid. The only thing that comes from drinking the stuff is being overweight, heart disease,liver disease, kidney disease and or even death. What is so glamorous about disease or death?
Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror when you are blasted out of your skull? Have you ever seen yourself on video while drunk off your ass? You look foolish!
Yeah, you may get a ton of people laughing at you when your like that but in the end they are not really laughing at your drunkenness they are laughing at the stupid stuff you do while they are doing the same. And when you “come to” after your drunk is over, how do you feel? Like crap!
What is so glamorous about feeling like crap? nothing! How glamorous is it to be puking in your toilet for a few hours?
I just think that this world would be a little better off if the stuff was not so advertised, so upheld in such a way that makes it “ok” in the eyes of the public.
Just once I would like to be able to watch a sports game or listen to the radio without the constant reminder of alcohol.
Sorry about ranting and raving about this but, this is just how I feel sometimes.
To be honest, I kept this post as low key as I could. I was going to go over the top about it but did not because people are going to do stupid things while drinking, that is a life fact. It’s not going to go away, it’s always going to be around us.
